OTHELLO — Warden boys basketball split its two jamboree games at Othello High School.

Warden edged fellow South Central Athletic Conference East team Wahluke 16-15 and lost to host Othello 16-12. The Cougars shot 9-of-11 from the free throw line on the night.

Wahluke pulled away from Othello in its matchup and won 27-15.

“I felt good about what I saw,” head coach Wes Richins said. “We played hard.”

Warden graduated three talented seniors: JR Delgado, Tanner Skone and Adam Richins. Delgado is playing basketball for Community Colleges of Spokane this season.

Jack Hardman, Zach Richins, Martin Arriaga, Kaden Skone and Michael Egia are expected to make an impact for a Warden team comprised of mostly sophomores and juniors.
