Nov. 22

Report of vehicle prowl and theft at a residence in the 500 block of North Mississippi Drive. Thieves stole a shotgun and other items, no value given.

Report of one-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 1500 block of West Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 hit a deer in the road.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1300 block of East June Drive. Vehicle owner said nothing was taken or damaged.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 2000 block of South Perch Avenue. Victim said unknown suspects stole her purse, described as a brown Coach purse with attached clutch.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Report of attempted theft in the 2200 block of West Broadway Avenue. Reporting party said unknown suspects searched the area behind his shed.

Report of three seventh-grade girls drinking beer in the restroom at Frontier Middle School. Two admitted drinking; the third admitted bringing it to school. All three were charged with MIP.

Report of theft from an organization at 724 W. Third Ave. Reporting party said the keys were at her residence and went missing for a few hours sometime on Nov. 8. Estimated $40 in cash stolen.

Report of theft from a business at 1807 E. Kittleson Rd. Unknown male suspect came into the bar and ordered food; when the waitress returned the man was gone and about $50 in tips were missing.

Report of domestic dispute. Victim told suspect to leave the house and picked up her purse; the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened to stab him. Suspect fled the scene when law enforcement was called.

Report of two-vehicle, hit and run accident at 914 Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 was leaving the business, attempting a left turn. Driver of vehicle 2 hit the rear of vehicle 1, then fled the scene.

Report of theft at a residence in the 900 block of Northwest Sunburst Court. Sometime during the past week unknown suspects removed the license plate from a motorcycle parked at the residence.

Report of stolen license plate. Unknown suspects took the license plate from the reporting party’s car and replaced it with a canceled plate off a different vehicle.

A woman, no age listed, was arrested for second-degree trespassing.

Nov. 23

Report of shots fired at a building at 658 Rd. L NE. Unknown suspect fired multiple times a the building, hitting it about 14 times.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 9900 block of Northeast Parkway Drive. Unknown suspect threw a rock through the window.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 2000 block of South Beaumont Drive. Reporting party said unknown suspects broke the driver’s side window sometime overnight.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Hill Avenue and Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

Report of vandalism at the intersection of West Third Avenue and South Gumwood Street. Unknown suspects slashed tires on a vehicle parked on Gumwood.

A 41-year-old woman was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Nov. 24

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the South Clover Drive roundabout on Yonezawa Boulevard. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into vehicle 2, and was cited for failing to yield right of way.

A man, no age listed, was arrested on one outstanding felony and five misdemeanor warrants.

Report of theft from a business at 1102 West Broadway Ave. Gas was siphoned from a work truck; estimated value, $20.

Report of theft from a residence in the 1000 block of South Division Street. Reporting party said a friend left a gift of food on her porch and it was stolen.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for theft and an outstanding felony warrant.

Report of two-vehicle, minor injury accident at the intersection of North Stratford Road and West Mart Road. Driver of vehicle 1 was turning left and ran into vehicle 2, going through the intersection. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield right of way.

A 44-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on two outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrants.

A man, no age listed, was arrested for riding a motorcycle without a helmet, driving without required ignition interlock, third-degree driving with a suspended license and an outstanding Cheney municipal warrant for DUI.

Report of vandalism at a church at 1601 W. Valley Rd. Unknown suspects threw a rock at the window, breaking the outer pane.

A man, no age listed, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

Report of assault in the 700 block of West Crest Drive. Reporting party said man with a bloody face came to his residence and asked to use the phone, telling the reporting party he was assaulted near the house. The man called for assistance and left the scene in an unknown vehicle.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 500 block of West Crest Drive. Sometime overnight an unknown suspect punctured all four tires on reporting party’s vehicle. Estimated damage, $1,100.

A 31-year-old man was cited for second-degree trespassing and third-degree malicious mischief after he jumped and broke several fences while running from the scene.

Report of two-vehicle, hit and run accident at a business at 1790 East Kittleson Road. Driver of vehicle 1 attempted to back into a parking spot and hit vehicle 2, then allegedly refused to talk to owner of vehicle 2 and left the scene.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1200 block of West Franklin Street. Back sliding door was broken out.

A woman, no age given, was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) The woman said she got in an argument with her husband, he used his cellphone to record it, and she grabbed the phone and broke it.

A woman, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. The woman allegedly had approached staff at Papa’s Casino asking for help, saying she had been threatened with a gun. An employee gave the woman a ride; when she was contacted later by law enforcement, she said she was OK and didn’t need help. Law enforcement officers then discovered the outstanding warrant.

Chase Hasty, 27, Burlington, was booked on outstanding Skagit County warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle, third-degree possession of stolen property and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Jack Greco, 62, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Trevor Richey, 25, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Yakima County warrant for shoplifting.
