NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION WORKSHOP Notice is hereby given that the Grant County Planning Commission will conduct a public workshop on December 6, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. for the purposes of discussing the 2018 Comprehensive Plan Update pursuant to RCW 36.70A.130. This workshop will primarily include discussions regarding the land use and housing sections of the comprehensive plan, but may also include discussion about other portions of the plan. The adoption of the updated Comprehensive Plan is currently scheduled for June 2018. This workshop will be held in the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room on the first floor of the Grant County Courthouse located at 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. GRANT COUNTY NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS FOR: "Request for Qualifications" Professional Bridge Engineering Services Grant County Public Works solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering and design. Solicitations must be received at the Grant County Public Works main office at the below address no later than 4:00 pm on December 8, 2017 by mail or hand delivered; email or faxed solicitations are not acceptable. Consultants will be considered for the following project: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed by the consultant consists of: Assisting in the design of future bridge projects. Providing on-call services for bridge ratings, evaluations, and inspection assistance to the County Road Engineer and Bridge crew. Provide SHV load ratings for approximately 100 Grant County bridges or as requested. The consultant firm that is awarded the project may be extended upon mutual agreement by both parties on agreement of terms, thru December 31, 2022.
