MLHS names Students of the Quarter

MOSES LAKE — Administrators and teachers at Moses Lake High School consider the Student of the Quarter announcement to be pretty important. No list in the bulletin – nope, there’s an assembly in the theater, with time for family and friends to take pictures.

The fall 2017 Students of the Quarter were announced Friday. About 45 students received recognition in classes ranging from biology to foreign languages, algebra to English, choir to history to forensic science.

Senior Spencer Kimbro received recognition as an All-American in track and field.

Other Students of the Quarter included Alexis Alaniz, Brodee Archer, Savanah Barrientoz, Casey Bowen, Riley Burgess, Kinsey Cade, Camille Carpenter, Lucas Christie, Dalltin Cook, Rosalva Diaz-Gomez, Marilyn Dogbe, Katlynn Espinoza. Ariana Ford-Dailey, Andrew Frey, Irina Goliarchuk, Jose Angel Gonzalez-Hernandez, Adrian Guaderrama, Ahtziri Guzman, Taylor Hofheins, Breanna Jungers, Trinity Justice, Virginia Kincaid, Ellisa Knox;

Jamie Loera, Ayla Longoria, Roman Medina, Tannia Moyer, Dylan O’Brien, Abeni Ochoa, Luis Oronia, Daniel Owen, Brittany Parker, Miguel Perez-Kumari. Ymani Ramirez, Bailie Richards, Carmelo (Caleb) Ruiz, Kaitlyn Schemper, Karlye Shank, Martin Skaug, Aurora Staats, Benjamin Stephens, Myanni Villa, Jay Jay (Janice) Young, Dimitriy Zakharov and Kaya Zickler.
