Dream Team represents well at regional bowling tournament

YAKIMA — Othello’s Special Olympics Dream Team matched up with Walla Walla, Yakima and Sunnyside at the regional tournament in Yakima Sunday and came away with six medals.
Earning gold in the men’s competition were Julian McDonald and Colton Schmidt. Silver medals in the men’s bracket went to Brendon Weyns and AJ Pruneda. Capturing silver in the women’s competition were Natasha Montejano and Megan Lembcke.
McDonald and Schmidt will represent Othello’s Unified Bowling Team in the Special Olympics State Tournament in Bothell Dec. 9 and 10.
