Nov. 13

Safeway reported a male was in their bathroom for a long period of time. The male was contacted and trespassed from the business.

Report of an unknown male leaving syringes in a bathroom in the 100 block of West Fifth Avenue.

Report of a male stealing merchandise from a business in the 5200 block of Patton Boulevard Northeast and fleeing the scene when he was contacted by the business owner.

Report of numerous items stolen out of a vehicle in the 800 block of West Edgewater Lane.

Peninsula Elementary advised a student was disrupting class and threatening to stab himself. The student's grandmother arrived at the school, but the student fled the area. The student was located by police and transported to a facility for a mental evaluation.

Report of two unknown juvenile subjects stealing alcohol from Safeway and fleeing the business.

A student at Frontier Middle School was found to be in possession of marijuana. The student was released to a parent. Charges are going be filed against the student.

Report of an unknown subject stealing a $100 speaker from Rite Aid.

A woman was taken to the hospital for an evaluation after she urinated on the floor of a hotel lobby in the 3000 block of West Marina Drive.

Nov. 14

A woman reported receiving a fraudulent phone call from a person telling her if she doesn't send money she will be arrested.

Two Chief Moses Middle School students were cited for possession of marijuana and released to their parents.

An intoxicated male was trespassed from a restaurant in the 1800 block of East Kittleson Road after he shattered a dinner plate in the business.

A officer contacted a male at Safeway who stole a bottle of alcohol from the store and pushed the store manager as he fled. The man was found to be in possession of marijuana, a scale and bottles of cough syrup. The suspect was transferred into the custody of the Department of Corrections.

Report of a bicycle stolen from the 400 block of West Third Avenue.

A woman was arrested for second-degree burglary after entering a vacant apartment without permission in the 1000 block of West Third Avenue.

A suspect in a stolen vehicle almost collided with an off-duty officer. The male suspect was arrested and transported to the Grant County Jail.

A man reported his passport stolen.

Prescription pills were reported stolen.

A woman reported that when she arrived home she entered through the back door and saw a juvenile run out the front door.

A woman reported 30 stray steers on her property.

A man reported his tires slashed.

A business reported an employee threatening other employees.

Nov. 14

David Thornton, 60, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for theft of a motor vehicle.

James Nazworthy, 48, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on a Department of Corrections order for arrest and detention for probation violations.

Nathan Huelle, 41, of Ephrata, was booked on a DOC case for probation violations.

Michael Bradley, 31, of Ephrata, was booked on a DOC detainer for probation violations.

Erasmo Gutierrez, 42, of Othello, was booked on a DOC case for probation violations.

Zachary Skone, 19, of Warden, was booked on a DOC warrant for probation violations.

Erik Guzman, 23, of Ephrata, was booked on a GCDC commitment for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock system.

Cheryl Carpenter, 58, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for second-degree burglary.

Tyler Hayward, 19, of Moses Lake, turned himself in on four outstanding GCDC warrants.

Adrian Diaz, 22, of Quincy, was arrested and booked for residential burglary, third-degree assault, third-degree escape of community custody and resisting arrest.

Luis Martinez, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for possession of a stolen vehicle and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
