NOTICE: ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION PERMIT NO.: WA0991013 APPLICANT: Grant County Public Utility District #2 (Grant PUD) PO Box 878, Ephrata, WA 98823 FACILITY: Crescent Bar Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) 8431 Road W.6 NW, Quincy, WA 98848 Grant PUD has applied for a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-220 Washington Administrative Code (WAC), and the Federal Clean Water Act. Grant PUD operates the Crescent Bar Wastewater Treatment Facility on Crescent Bar Island. The design maximum daily flow will be 110,000 gallons per day (gpd) with indirect discharge of treated effluent to the Columbia River. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued. The Department of Ecology is proposing to issue the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent.
