HomeStreet bank opens Moses Lake loan office

MOSES LAKE — Anyone wanting to buy a home in the Moses Lake area now has a new choice for financing with the arrival of Seattle-based HomeStreet Bank.

“We’re honored to call Moses Lake home,” said Mike Denslow, who manages both Homestreet’s Kennewick and Moses Lake branches. “We’ve built a talented team of professionals to serve our community, and we can’t wait to start helping the people of Moses Lake achieve their very own American dream.”

HomeStreet, which has about $6.8 billion in total assets and $5.2 billion in total loans, was founded in 1921 and has branches across the Western United States — from Washington to Arizona — and Hawaii. The company specializes in home loans, both for new and custom built houses, existing homes, and remodeling. HomeStreet offers conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans along with other loan programs.

“Our big niche is construction and renovation,” said Alys Madura, marketing manager for HomeStreet.

Madura said Moses Lake is a stable community with a strong demand for housing, and so it makes sense to invest here.

“Kennewick is one of our favorite markets, and there has been tremendous growth in Kennewick,” she said. “Why not Moses Lake next?”

HomeStreet’s Moses Lake office is located at 321 Beech St., and home buyers or owners are always welcome to set up an appointment or drop in between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to see what’s available.
