Samaritan Healthcare's pediatrics department, not its obstetrics department, will be moving to Samaritan Clinic by the end of 2017. The department was incorrectly identified in a story in the Nov. 2 edition of the Columbia Basin Herald.
Cost for the entire project will be about $260,000, all for the remodeling and equipment at Samaritan Clinic. During the Oct. 31 meeting Samaritan CEO Teresa Sullivan said the hospital would do some refurbishment at Parkview Pediatrics. But the cost of that project has not been determined yet, said Gretchen Youngren, Samaritan director of communications and development.
