City council needs solutions, not curfews

| November 2, 2017 3:00 AM

I cannot vote on Moses Lake City Council members because I live in the county, but I would never vote for Mike Norman if his “recommendation” to rid our city of homeless people is a curfew on the park. Instead, how about: providing a shelter and/or affordable housing, helping students graduate (backpacks, school supplies, hygiene packs), provide jobs, allowing a tent city and/or benches that provide shelter, free meals, portable showers et cetera?

Moses Lake needs some compassionate and responsible solutions to manage homelessness, not curfews.
