Report of a man yelling at someone in a vehicle and striking a person in the 300 block of West Fourth Avenue. The suspect was located and advised he was disciplining his child. Police determined no crime had occurred.
A man reported an ongoing problem receiving calls from people claiming to work for the IRS.
Report of a door on a garage kicked open in the 3500 block of West Everett Place. Nothing appeared to be stolen from the residence.
A man told police he accidentally flipped off some people who then punched him and left in the area of South Ash Street and West Sixth Avenue.
Report of a 3-year-old riding on a scooter unattended in the area of South Division Street and East Hill Avenue. Police could not locate the child.
A woman reported a person with an unknown phone number called her about 13 times. The woman was given options on correcting the problem.
Report of a boat motor and some fishing gear stolen in the 4000 block of Longview Street.
A man entered Safeway and filled up a shopping cart with items and fled the store. The man fled the area in a dark green Chevrolet Blazer.
A officer attempted to stop a vehicle and the driver and passenger exited the car and fled on foot. One suspect was captured and taken into custody. The other suspect evaded capture.

John Willoughby, of Quincy, was booked for violation of a no-contact order.
Jesus Hernandez, city of residence not given, was arrested and booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for failure to transfer a title within 45 days.
Alvin Flores, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Kenneth Schappell, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant for probation violation and an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.
Zane Berg, of Othello, was booked on a DOC arrest and detention order for possession of a controlled substance.
Ashley Mace, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a DOC order for arrest.
Connor Andrews, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault.
Scott Edson, of Othello, was arrested and booked on a DOC secretary's warrant.
