May 22

Report of a subject whose license was suspended driving to his Department of Corrections appointment. The subject was contacted and warned he would be arrested if he was caught driving.

Report of a fraudulent charge on a credit card.

Report of a subject sleeping on the sidewalk in the 900 block of West Third Avenue. The subject was permanently trespassed.

Report of a fraudulent call purporting to be from the IRS. The caller threatened the reporting party with jail for not paying taxes. Reporting party did not give the caller information and instead called police.

Report of a dog bite in the 1100 block of South Alderwood Drive. Victim was walking past a residence where the gate was ajar and the dog bit her on the right wrist.

Report of a domestic violence incident in which a mother reported that her daughter hit her in the head during an argument. The subject fled the scene prior to police arrival and was contacted in the area and booked into jail on domestic violence charges.

Report of a stolen vacuum cleaner in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue.

Report of fraud in the 2000 block of West Valley Road. Reporting party advised that the subject had defrauded her out of about $360.

Report of a front license plate stolen off a vehicle in the 900 block of South Laguna Drive.

Report of a collision in the 900 block of West Broadway Avenue. Vehicle 1 was in front of vehicle 2 in a parking lot and backed into vehicle 2. Information was exchanged.

Report of a child assaulted by another child at Garden Heights Elementary School.

Report of a found wallet at a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Law enforcement took the wallet and returned it to its owner.

Report of two suspicious persons staring at the reporting party in the 1200 block of West Concord Avenue.

Report of a male, possibly underage, carrying a bottle of liquor around a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. The subject was identified and booked into Grant County Jail for active warrants.

Report of a “no trespassing” sign vandalized in the 1100 block of South Grand Drive. The juveniles who caused the damage were contacted. Reporting party did not wish to press charges.

Report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of West Century Street and North Kentucky Drive. Vehicle 1 failed to yield to vehicle 2.

A juvenile female runaway from Othello was located in the 2000 block of West Broadway Avenue. She was found to be in possession of 1.5 grams of marijuana and arrested and booked into Grant County Juvenile Detention.

A 22-year-old male was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant and booked into Grant County Jail.

Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of West Northshore Drive. Officer observed one subject walk behind a house. The subjects claimed either to be a resident at the house or to know someone there. Subject 1 attempted to hide from police and was located. Subject 2, who claimed to be her sister, had a Department of Corrections warrant and was transported to Grant County Jail.

A woman reported receiving threats by phone.

A woman, who was not at home reported that her daughter was in the house breaking things.

A man reported that his door was damaged and it appeared that someone had tried to break into his residence.

Gasoline was reported stolen from a vehicle.

A male caller reported an ongoing problem with the neighbors harassing his sister.

A woman reported that a male threw her motorcycle out of the back of his truck and damaged it.

Darren Poirier, 56, Soap Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail for harassment (domestic violence).

Victoria Martinez, 22, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Zachary Skone, 19, Warden, was booked on an outstanding WDOC order.

Santiago Vasquez, 42, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding WDOC order.

Tyler Sage, 25, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for first-degree negligent driving.

Jose Chavez Marin, 23, Federal Way, was booked on an outstanding Kittitas County warrant.

Jesus Villaneuva Ozuna, 19, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for violation of a no-contact order (domestic violence), MIP, obstructing law enforcement and making false statements to law enforcement.

Ronald Herger, 59, Soap Lake was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for possession of methamphetamines.

Tyler Redin, 22, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Isiah Fenton, 22, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for reckless driving.
