Felipa R. Rocha, 82, a Moses Lake resident, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 with her family at her side.

A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Moses Lake. A Holy Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Monday May 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Guarding Angels Cemetery, Moses Lake.

Felipa was born in Pearsall, Texas to Feliberto and Octaviana Rodriguez on Feb. 5, 1935. She married Domingo Rocha on Dec. 26, 1953 in Pearsall, Texas. Felipa was a hardworking, loving, caring and kind mother, grandmother and friend. Felipa’s passion was her family; she would do anything for her children and grandchildren. One of Felipa’s hobbies was watching telenovelas and she enjoyed talking about her favorites. She also enjoyed cooking and talking on the phone with friends and family and always kept a stash of candy and gum to share. Felipa was known as having a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.

Felipa was preceded in death by her father Feliberto Rodriguez, mother Octaviana Rodriguez, son Jose Rocha, granddaughter Melinda Moncada, brother Juan Rodriguez, sister Andera Rodriguez, brother Cleofas Rodriguez, brother Pancho Rodriguez, brother Martin Rodriguez, brother Feliberto Rodriguez Jr, and sister Paula Rodriguez/Garcia.

Felipa is survived by her spouse Domingo Rocha; her children Juan (Judy) Rocha, Javier (Janie) Rocha, Ricky (Kathy) Rocha and Martina Rocha; siblings Carlos Rodriguez, Pablo Rodriguez and Juanita Rodriguez; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be JohnPaul Moncada, Nick Moncada, Ricky Rocha Jr., Juan Rocha Jr, Austin Kern, and Alfredo Rocha.
