| May 19, 2017 4:00 AM

June 4, 1933 – May 16, 2017

Adela Ozuna Martinez, 83 years old, of Moses Lake Washington passed away at Central Washington Hospital on May 16, 2017 with her loving family at her side. Adela was born on June 4, 1933 to Benito Ozuna and Petra Conzales in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She eventually married Epifanio Martinez, and together they raised five children before Epifanio’s passing in 2017.

A longtime Moses Lake resident, Adela had a love of the outdoors and gardening, and greatly enjoyed a game of bingo whenever she could. Her family was her pride and joy, and she could not stand to see any of them struggle if she could help it. Adela’s love and compassion will continue to live on through her many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her kindness toward others and her strength in times of struggle will remain an inspiration to all who knew her.

Adela was preceded in death by her husband Epifanio in 2014, and is survived by sons Ramiro Martinez, Epifanio Martinez Jr., Noe Martinez and Raul Martinez; daughters Angelica Ramos and Adela Martinez; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Adela will be deeply missed by all, but is now at peace from pain and suffering forevermore.

A viewing and remembrance time will be held on Monday May 22, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. at New Beginnings, 318 W. Northshore Dr. in Moses Lake, Wash.
