May 9

Report of a suspicious person approaching women in the Safeway parking lot. The subject was gone when police arrived at the scene.

Report of a television and VCR stolen from a residence in the 400 block of East Brown Avenue.

Report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 1000 block of West Broadway Avenue since Saturday. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and advised to move the vehicle as soon as possible.

A woman reported witnessing a man attempt to gain access to a residence in the 1500 block of North Mary Street. The suspect saw the reporting party and fled the area on Daniel Street. The suspect was not located and the residence was found to be secure.

A woman was permanently trespassed from Rite Aid after stealing safety pins from the business.

Report of a woman lying in the outfield of a baseball field in the 900 block of West Central Drive and refusing to leave. The woman agreed to move when police arrived at the scene.

A man was arrested for a warrant and failure to obey a police officer after a officer attempted to stop his vehicle and he continued driving.

A small tar-like substance was found on the floor of a restaurant in the 700 block of South Pioneer Way. The substance tested positive for heroin.

A woman reported that she backed into her son’s vehicle.

A man reported that a subject in a white pickup was taking photos of his house.

A man reported identity theft.

A woman reported finding a 5-gallon tank of gas, a fishing pole and a hammock.

A man reported that he bought an iPad from someone, checked the settings and found the previous owner’s phone number. The reporting party called the number and learned that the iPad had been stolen two years previously.

An apartment complex reported that juveniles who had previously been trespassed were back on the property.

A woman reported that her husband was drunk and destroying things.

A woman reported that her license plate had been either lost or stolen.

A woman reported that a male smashed a window at her house.

James Goodlake, of Grand Coulee, was arrested and booked for obstruction of a law enforcement officer and an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for second-degree possession of stolen property.

Gary Hibbs, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for violation of a no-contact order, resisting arrest and fourth-degree assault.

William Jacobson, of Moses Lake, was booked for failure to obey an officer and a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Kymberli Lehde, of Garfield, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Phillip Wallace, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC order for arrest and detention for probation violation.

Aaron Koski, of Soap Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault.

Rex Buck, of Beverly, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Michael Yancey, of Spokane, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC administrative warrant for telephone harassment.

Leah Juergens, of Moses Lake, was arrested for fourth-degree assault and malicious mischief.

Ryan Cecchetti, city of residence not listed, was booked for first-degree trafficking stolen property.

Kristopher Combs, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCSC child support warrant.
