December 12, 1939 – April 12, 2017

Arthur L. Baker Jr. (Bud) went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones.

Arthur joined the military and served his country honorably for 23 years in the U.S. Army and Washington National Guard. During that time he toured two times in Vietnam and once in Korea.

Although he traveled the world and had many different adventures he always loved Washington state. He was a longtime resident of both Long Beach, Wash. and Moses Lake, Wash. and in his last years Vancouver, Wash.

Arthur is survived by his children Mari-Lee Baker, Jeffery D. Baker and Davianne Myers and son-in-law Anthony Myers as well as his grandchildren Isaac Myers, Abigail Myers and Lincoln Myers.

My father will be remembered for his outstanding personality, bravery, kindness towards others and the love for his children.

Flowers are welcome to his daughter Davianne Myers, 8822 Beacon Ave., Vancouver, WA 98664.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and the love he shared to so many people 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 19 at Turning Point Christian Center, 709 NE 136th Ave., Vancouver, Wash., followed by his military burial at Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, Ore.
