Silver Alert issued for missing Ritzville man

RITZVILLE — The Ritzville Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find a missing elderly man.

Thomas Eugene Kelly, 78, of Ritzville, was reportedly last seen about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning and never made it to work, east of Ritzville. He has no known medical conditions and has family in Idaho. He is said to have previously lived in Kahlotus in Franklin County, and has lived in Ritzville for about a month.

Police state Kelly could possibly be traveling in a gold colored Ford F-350 pickup truck, with a license plate number of C06865B. He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 162 pounds with hazel eyes and white hair. Silver Alerts are issued when a person over the age of 60 with a form of dementia goes missing, according to the Washington Department of Transportation.
