MATTAWA — The Warriors (6-3, 10-5) got back to their winning ways picking up a couple of wins their last two outings to nail down third place in the SCAC East Conference standings with a game to go in regular season play.

Wahluke blanked Kiona Benton 8-nil on the Warriors home turf Saturday. In a rare feat, Wahluke recorded two hat tricks in the fuss: one from Chrystian Garcia and the other off the foot of Emmanuel Hidalgo. The Warriors keeper Ulysses Gonzalez recorded one save on the night.

Wahluke closed out the regular season at home against College Place Tuesday, but the results were not available by time of press. The team opens district competition Friday at Mabton.
