February 10, 1937 – March 13, 2017

Patricia Carlita Paradis Brindle, 80, died of natural causes March 13, 2017 in Othello, Wash.

Pat is survived by her loving sister and brother–in-law Sunny and Frank LaRosee, of Warden, Wash., her brother Mike Paradis of San Jose, Calif. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Lottie Paradis, her husband Gary Brindle and her nephew Cody Anderson.

Pat was born Feb. 10 1937, in Selah, Wash. to Jerry and Lottie Paradis. She graduated from Highland High School, Cowiche, Wash. in 1954 before becoming a stewardess in 1958. She then moved to Minneapolis, Minn. and accepted a position with Northwest Orient Airlines, where she worked for more than 30 years. Pat was a loving daughter, sister and aunt, who called from all over the country to let her family know that she had landed safely no matter where she was.

Pat was a world traveler and always brought gifts home from her travels, whether working or on one of her well-deserved vacations. Pat was a wonderful woman who was never too tired to tell her family of her many trips.

After a three-month romance, she married Gary Brindle and, between flights, worked on the family fruit farm in Royal City, Wash. She enjoyed meeting new customers and greeting old friends at the family fruit stand. Pat never knew a stranger and would take in any stray – dog, cat, lamb, calf or person – and feed them well.

Her family and friends will always remember her as “Aunt Pat” as she was introduced to and called by all who met her. There are no works to describe the incredible loss that will be in her family’s hearts but she is with all the family and friends who gave gone before her; she is no longer in pain and can ride on the back of Cody’s motorcycle or her horse, Pet, play cards with her parents and take long walks with Gary.

There will be no service for Pat, according to her wishes, but you can make a donation to your local pet rescue in her honor and remember her fondly. For a more incredible aunt, no one could ever know.
