Dona Hite Strickland

Heaven gained another angel on April 30, 2017 – Dona Hite Strickland passed away after a courageous batter with cancer. Dona has been reunited in heaven with her parents Donald and Mary Hite, her brother Russell and her beloved dogs Mackie and Megan. She is survived by her brother John Hite, son Michael Strickland and his wife Cathy Strickland, granddaughters Micayla, Marissa and Ashley and many lifelong friends.

After serving a long career in nursing, Dona dove deeper into her passion for painting. Dona will also be remembered for her contagious smile, witty sense of humor, giving heart and her love for Nordstrom.

A cowgirl through and through, Dona loved rodeos and singing country karaoke. She was quick to share this love with all who knew her, as well as many other things. Dona found fulfillment in connecting to those around her.

A woman unlike any other, she will be missed greatly.

A celebration of life will be held May 11 at 2 p.m. at Moses Lake Presbyterian Church, 1142 W. Ivy, Moses lake.
