Moses Lake Police Department
March 28
Report of two suspicious suspects with backpacks jumping fences in the 800 block of South Hawthorne Drive. Police could not locate the suspects.
A hypodermic needle was found in the area of East Ninth Avenue and South Division Street. The needle was disposed of by police.
Police contacted a resident in the 1000 block of West Bruce Street who has chickens on their property, but does not have a permit from the city to have the chickens.
An unknown suspect stole a drug test from Rite Aid and fled the store. Police could not locate the suspect.
Report of two people looking at packages on the front porch of a home in the 4700 block of West Badger Street. The people were later contacted and denied casing houses or stealing.
Report of an assault between two Moses Lake High School students. Charges are going to be filed in connection with the incident.
Report of a gun stolen out of a vehicle in the 600 block of West Yakima Avenue.
A man was arrested for second-degree trafficking in stolen property and second-degree burglary after stealing items from Walmart.
Report of two males throwing rocks at geese near Neppel Park. The subjects were not located by police.
Police received several reports of a male defecating in the area of East Third Avenue and East Broadway Avenue. The male was found to have a warrant out for his arrest and was taken into custody.

A man reported that someone had shot his window with a BB gun.
An ongoing problem with cattle in the road was reported.
A man reported that his vehicle was taken, possibly by his mother and her boyfriend.
A dog was reported running at large through fresh concrete.
A man reported that his disabled neighbor had people staying at his residence whom he didn’t want there.
A pressure washer and gas can were reported stolen.

A man reported his truck had been stolen.

Jose Garza, of Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court for manufacturing marijuana and possession of methamphetamine.
Betty Wilson, of Wenatchee, was booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for residential burglary and first-degree trafficking in stolen property.
Peter Garza, of Othello, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for violation of a no-contact order.
Darcy Edwards, of Omak, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree possession of stolen property and an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree possession of stolen property.
Aaron Salazar, of Tacoma, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and first-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Gabriel Esparza, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Nicholas Brown, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a Department of Corrections probation violation.
Matthew Allen, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for second-degree burglary, second-degree attempted burglary, third-degree theft and second-degree trafficking in stolen property.
Tyler Flores, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for forgery and third-degree theft.
Andrew Heath, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Antonio Campos, city of residence not listed, was arrested and booked for first-degree burglary and unlawful imprisonment.
Kristopher Combs, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on a GCSC child support warrant.
Wilmer Guerrero, city of residence not listed, was arrested and booked for felony eluding and second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission.
