March 21

Police contacted a man and woman who were sleeping in a vehicle in the 500 block of South Buchanan Street. The woman was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant and taken into custody.

Report of a window broke out on a vehicle in the area of South Burress Avenue and West Broadway Avenue.

A woman advised someone made an unauthorized withdrawal from her bank account.

Report of a license plate stolen off a truck in the 100 block of North Block Street.

A man reported finding a pair of socks in his mailbox in the 1000 block of West Third Avenue. Two meth pipes were found inside the socks. The pipes were destroyed by police.

Report of a male stealing a bottle of alcohol from Safeway and fleeing the scene. Police could not locate the suspect.

A man reported hitting a deer with his vehicle in the area of North Fig Street and East Wheeler Road. The vehicle was undamaged and the deer was determined to not be seriously injured.

Report of a glass smoking device found on Lakeview Elementary property. The device was retrieved and later destroyed by police.

March 22

Report of a vehicle stolen from a driveway in the 500 block of North Clark Road.

Report of a student at Chief Moses Middle School threatening to use brass knuckles to beat up another student. The parents of the students were contacted and informed of the incident.

An employee at a motel in the 1200 block of South Pioneer Way reported finding a large amount of possibly stolen tools in one of the motel's rooms.

A woman advised her camp trailer was entered in the 300 block of East State Avenue sometime over the last several days. No fingerprints were found and nothing was missing from the trailer.

Report of a vehicle driving on a sidewalk in the 600 block of North Dove Court. Police could not find the vehicle.

Report of a backpack stolen out of a vehicle in the 600 block of South Alder Street.

Police contacted a man in the 1800 block of East Kittleson Road who was kicked off a bus and causing a disturbance. Police learned the man has several medical issues and he was transported to Samaritan Hospital for an evaluation.

A woman reported that someone had stolen items from her husband’s work truck and cut the lock to a U-Haul trailer.

Posts were reported damaged at a park in Desert Aire.

A female caller reported that a vehicle pulled into her driveway and a male got out and went into her back yard.

A woman reported that her grandson didn’t come home on the bus.

A man reported that his son was intoxicated and refusing to leave.

Guns were reported stolen from an unlocked safe in a shed.

A man reported that items were missing and he believed his neighbor was the culprit.
