Suspect arrested in Quincy armed robbery
QUINCY — Quincy police have identified and arrested one suspect from a late January armed robbery. Two other suspects are reportedly still at large.
The Quincy Police Department’s investigation into the alleged robbery revealed the two victims attempted to purchase illegal drugs from Salvador Solorzano Torrez, 19, at a Quincy residence on Jan. 29. Solorzano Torrez and two other unknown assailants allegedly robbed the two victims in 700 block of F Street Southeast, according to the QPD.
Solorzano Torrez was allegedly armed with a handgun. One of the other suspects was reportedly armed with a rifle. The two victims were robbed of personal items and cash.
Solorzano Torrez was taken into custody on suspicion of two counts of first-degree robbery, second-degree theft and second-degree malicious mischief.
