INET raids alleged drug house in Moses Lake
MOSES LAKE — A man and woman are now lodged in the Grant County Jail following a raid at a suspected drug house in Moses Lake.
Members of Grant County’s Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET), backed by Moses Lake Police Department officers and troopers with the Washington State Patrol, served a search warrant Thursday at a home in the 2000 block of West Broadway Avenue in Moses Lake, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities reportedly recovered 6 grams of methamphetamine, 22 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging materials and $1,500 in cash.
“Detectives also seized two vehicles and personal property,” the sheriff’s office stated in a release. “The several months long investigation involved multiple undercover drug buys by investigators.”
Carlos M. Sanchez, 42, and Mary D. Spencer, 45, were arrested in connection with the raid and booked into the Grant County Jail for suspicion of two counts each of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling or place for controlled substances, and maintaining a drug house within 1,000 feet of a school or school bus stop.
