Victoria L. Mandelas

Victoria L. Mandelas went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, March 3, 2017. She leaves behind her husband of 53 years Gus Mandelas, her son Tim Mandelas and Kate Brown and her daughter Teresa and husband Chet Morgan, along with her beloved grandchildren.

She was born in the city of Seattle, Wash. and later moved to the Ellensburg, Wash. area where she met and fell in love with her husband Gus Mandelas. They were later married on Aug. 10, 1963 and were blessed to adopt their son Timothy in 1967 and adopt their daughter Teresa four years after that.

Vicki was the oldest of eight children: Denise Banguis, Carrie Irvine, Ralph Ducharme, Diana Ducharme, Steve Ducharme, Debbie Butt and Lori Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her mother Hazel Ducharme, her brother Ralph and her sister Debbie.

Vicki enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, writing and painting, and most of all spending time with her family. She was also a recognized member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribe of Montana. People will remember her for her unwavering faith and warm smile. She will be greatly missed.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes or American Heart Association.
