Michael Kenneth Moore, 65, Moses Lake resident, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Soap Lake Elementary School, 410 Ginkgo St. S., Soap Lake, Wash. A spaghetti dinner with donations accepted and a silent auction will follow the service with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Moore family for expenses. Mike was born on Aug. 18, 1951 in Los Angeles, Calif. He married Marijean Larson in 1980 and together they raised six children. Mike was involved in Little League and worked with Special Olympics.

He belonged to several clubs, including the Moose Lodge, the Eagles Lodge, the American Legion and the VFW and had previously belonged to the Elks Lodge. An advocate for motorcycle riding, he belonged to Abate, the American Legion Riders and the Undertakers.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Jean and two sons, Mark Larsen and Jon Larsen. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Marijean; children Russell (Cemlyn) Larsen, Jana (Bob) Naab, Larna (Gary) Pierce, Mardee (Dale) Coleman, and Jason Moore; grandchildren Brad (Amber) Larsen, Alisha Larsen, Shannon Fuller Kingston, Jennipher Larsen, Amanda Valencia Naab (Marvin), Christopher Naab, Benjamin Naab, Brent (Audra) Pierce, Kenny (Whitney) Pierce, Jay (Brianna) Pierce, Jordan Coleman, Peyton Coleman, Ambra (Trevor) Knapp, Ian Larsen, and Alyssa Larsen and great-grandchildren ShyAnne Alvarez, Caitlin Larsen, Levi Larsen, Camren Larsen, Daye Kingston, Karly Kingston, Beau Bepple, Adrian Valencia, Alayna Valencia, Eli Pierce, Mercy Pierce, Avery Pierce, and Allison Knapp.
