Washington Counties Scholarship application open
MOSES LAKE — The Washington Association of County Officials and the Washington State Association of Counties will be accepting applications for scholarships beginning Wednesday.
The Washington Counties Scholarship Fund is open to children of county employees or elected officials. Up to five scholarships will be awarded statewide; the maximum individual scholarship is $3,000.
An applicant must be a current college student or incoming college freshman. Scholarships are awarded as GET credits (Guaranteed Education Tuition), so students must be enrolled in a college or university that is part of the GET program.
Applications are available on the Washington Counties Scholarship Fund website, www.countyscholarship.org. Applications can be submitted online or by mail. They must be postmarked or submitted by April 28.
