June 28

Report of a travel bag stolen out of a vehicle parked in the area of South Western Avenue and South Milwaukee Avenue.

A woman reported an unknown subject took mail out of her mailbox in the 600 block of North Florida Drive. The mail was reportedly opened up and discarded.

A woman attempted to steal several items from Safeway. Upon contact the woman returned one of the items and left the store in an older Ford pickup truck.

Report of an erratically driven vehicle in the area of South Camas Place and Sand Dunes Road. Police could not locate the vehicle.

Report of an explosion in the 600 block of South Division Street. A second caller believed the explosion was from fireworks. No signs of fireworks were located in the area.

Report of a suspicious person possibly preparing to prowl vehicles in the 700 block of South Clover Drive. Police could not locate the subject.

Report of shots fired in the 3000 block of Road H Northeast. Police could not find evidence in the area.

A woman reported a fraudulent call purporting to be from the IRS, saying that they were watching her and threatening to take everything in her house.

A woman reported that another child threw a rock at her son.

A man reported that the motor had been stolen from his boat.

A charger and battery were reported stolen out of a truck

A phone was reported stolen.

A man reported that he returned home to find his residence had been broken into.

A man reported that medicine and flashlights were stolen from his residence.

Five propane tanks and a mattress were reportedly found dumped in a field.

Grant County Jail

June 28

Gabriel Toscano, 32, of Warden, was arrested and booked on outstanding Benton County District Court warrants for harassment and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Brandon Pachosa, 22, of Grand Coulee, was arrested and booked for possession of heroin and two outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for third-degree theft and two counts of fourth-degree assault.

Jacob Martinez, 19, of Wenatchee, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Benton County District Court warrant for theft.

Eric Deane, 53, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant.

Christopher Smith, 33, city of residence listed, was booked on a Department of Corrections detainer.

Gary Bowman, 50, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant.

June 29

Rolando Arredondo, 50, of Quincy, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for second-degree theft.
