Request for Qualifications Architect Services for 2018 Bond Facility Improvement Projects and Modernization of Red Rock Elementary School Royal School District No. 160 Proposal Due Date: 06.23.2017, 3:00 p.m. The Royal School District No. 160 is requesting qualifications for architecture services from interested firms for feasibility studies, new construction, additions, modernizations and capital improvement projects throughout the District for our current projects and our 2018 bond projects. Qualification information should be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017, to Greg Pike at Royal School District, 901 Ahlers Rd, Royal City, WA 99357. Documents received after the designated time and date will not be considered. Interested firms with recent experience involving feasibility studies, modernization, additions, site development projects and new construction for school districts are requested to submit qualifications. Firms must have knowledge of Washington State statutory regulations relating to public school funding, including RCW39.35D, High Performance School Buildings Program. Emphasis will be placed on prior work and responsiveness to various District requirements. In order to be considered, interested firms should submit six (6) copies and one PDF on a flash drive of their qualifications statement, addressing: 1) Letter of introduction that includes the firm's strategy to provide face-to- face project coordination. 2) Firm background and qualifications. 3) Examples of completed K-12 Projects. 4) Public school references with names and phone numbers of contacts. 5) Resumes of key individuals providing service, including project specific information. 6) Unique capability or philosophy. 7) Capability and availability to immediately commence work. 8) Experience incorporating Washington Sustainable School Protocol design features, selected materials and energy saving equipment. The qualifications package may not exceed (25) 8.5" x 11" pages, and will only be accepted organized in the foregoing format, with font not less than 11 point. The Royal School District No. 160 will review all submittals, and select an architect off of the proposals alone or they may invite short-listed firms to participate in personal interviews with the School District selection committee. The Royal School District also reserves the right to cancel or to reissue the RFQ in whole or in part, prior to execution of a contract.
