Moses Lake Police Department
June 12
Two hypodermic needles were located in a parking lot in the 8400 block of Aspi Boulevard Northeast and disposed of.
A car dealership in the 700 block of West Third Avenue reported someone stole four tires off of a customer's vehicle in their lot.
Report of a possibly impaired driver in the area of West Broadway Avenue and South Gibby Road. Police responded and the vehicle was legally parked in a driveway. Residents were drinking in the driveway and advised not to drive.
Report of an erratically driven motorcycle on North Stratford Road. Police could not locate the motorcycle.
A woman reported someone struck her vehicle in a parking lot in the 1700 block of East Kittleson Road on either June 6 of June 7.
Report of a subject entering Walmart and leaving without paying for a car seat.
Police responded to the 600 block of South Division Street after a report of a possible shooting. The residents at the location were not aware of the call and police determined the report was fake.
Report of an unknown subject pointing a laser at airplanes.
Grant County Jail
June 12
Christopher Smith, 33, of Ephrata was arrested and booked on a Department of Corrections order for probation violations.
Lucio Rivera, 33, of Moses Lake, turned himself in on a Grant County District Court commitment.
Recardo Rocha, 23, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC order for arrest and detention.
Alonso Hernandez, 26, city of residence not listed, was booked on a GCDC commitment for fourth-degree assault.
Francisca Vasquez, 28, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for second-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault.
Luke Melgren, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked on two GCDC commitments.
June 13
Nicole Shenefelt, 19, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault.
Anthony Montes, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for theft of a motor vehicle, violation of a protection order and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
