| June 13, 2017 3:00 AM

March 22, 1944 – May 31, 2017

Robert “Bob” Davidson, 73, passed away May 31, 2017 at Confluence Central Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash. due to health complications exacerbated by the onset of pneumonia. He was accompanied by his wife, son, brother and family in this most difficult time.

Bob was born on March 22, 1944 in Prescott, Ariz. to Arrie and Ernestine Davidson. He was third of four brothers; Ernie, Donald and David. The family moved to Moses Lake in 1957. He attended Moses Lake high school where he graduated in 1962. He was an avid baseball player who also enjoyed outdoor activities to include fishing, hunting and enjoying what Moses Lake has to offer with his brothers and close friends and coaching his son’s little league baseball team.

After graduating high school, Bob served his country for six years in the Nation Guard. He met his wife of 46 years, Judith Ann O’Connor, at their place of work. They married in 1970 and their only child Ryan was born July 1971.

He began a career at Carnation, potato processing plant and gradually worked his way to plant superintendent. Upon separating from Carnation, he took on the endeavor of learning about livestock feed supplements and providing the local community with sales and delivery services. He then became a school bus driver for the Moses Lake School District for 18 years before retiring at the age of 67. During this time, he was able to meet and establish relationships with many kids and parents in the community and was well liked by all. He often spoke of the appreciation he had of the staff and management.

During his retirement, Bob enjoyed fishing with his brother David, growing his always abundant tomato garden, learning new technology and spending time with his loving wife. Bob was a private person who held his immediate family close, enjoyed his lifelong friends and would listen to whoever needed to speak. He would offer his opinion to those he held close so if you were in that close circle, it was evident. He was the best husband and father any spouse or kid could ask for and will be immensely missed by all close to him.

He was preceded in death by his father Arrie, mother Ernestine and brother Don. He is survived by his wife Judi, son Ryan (Jenny), brothers Ernie (Josie) and David, grandchildren (Blake, Mason, and Mallory), and many extended family members. Memorial Services pending.

Arrangements are in care of Pioneer Memorial Services, Moses Lake.
