Othello police searching for pair with info on assault

OTHELLO — The Othello Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying a man and woman who reportedly have information about an assault that occurred over the weekend.

The assault reportedly occurred about 10:20 a.m. on Saturday at the Othello Walmart, 1860 E. Main St. The OPD reports a man and woman, whom the police have pictures from video surveillance, have information on the assault. The OPD did not state if the subjects are being investigated as suspects.

One of the subjects is described as an African-American male in his 40s, between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage military hat, a maroon shirt, blue jeans and Mossy Oak pattern Crocs.

The second subject is described as a Caucasian female in her late 40s, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. Police say she has a large bruise/birthmark on her right upper arm and was wearing a pink and black dress on Saturday. Both people are associated with a white pickup truck.
