May 31

A fisherman hooked a plastic bag containing multiple jewelry items while fishing on the lake. The items were turned over to police.

A student at Frontier Middle School told a friend she was going to hurt two girls who were picking her. A report will be forwarded to the Grant County Prosecutor's Office.

Police contacted a man who sleeping in a public bathroom in the 2100 block of West Valley Road. The man was told to leave the area.

A woman reported someone backed into her vehicle in the 800 block of East Hill Avenue and fled the scene.

Two subjects were caught attempting to steal alcohol from Safeway. The store recovered the items and the suspects left the area.

A woman reported one of her friends threw a rock through a window at her residence in the 2000 block of West Lakeside Drive.

Report of a cell phone stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of West Columbia Avenue.

Report of two women possibly smoking substances in a public bathroom in the 900 block of West Central Drive. The subjects denied any wrongdoing.

A female caller reported that a male subject threw his keys at her.

A woman reported that a subject who had been trespassed from the property had returned.

A man reported that a female subject was opening his mail.

A woman reported that a subject had shown up at her house in the middle of the night throwing rocks at her house and vehicle.

A woman reported that her neighbor’s dog attacked her dog.

June 1

A battery was reported stolen out of a trailer.

A woman reported that her house was broken into while she was at work.

A vehicle was reported stolen overnight from a business.

Dustin McDaniel, city of residence not listed, was booked on an out-of-county warrant.

Juan Lopez, city of residence not listed, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant and an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant.

Joel Havens, city of residence not listed, was booked on a Department of Corrections order.

Alejandro Mata, of Othello, was arrested and booked on a DOC order of arrest and detention for violations of probation.
