MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Police Department’s annual National Night Out is set to return tomorrow and is billed to be the biggest and best installment of the annual event.

This year’s event will be a little bit different than in years past. Traditionally National Night Out has been held in the downtown Moses Lake area, but this year it will be held at McCosh Park. Running from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., on tap for the night is live music from the band Cover Story, free food for all, free ice cream for kids 12 and younger, face painting, finger painting, bicycle registration, a dunk tank, a drawing for kids bikes and tickets to Silverwood Theme Park, and other activities and information from local organizations. Face painting, finger painting and bicycle registration are done free of charge.

National Night Out takes place in more than 16,000 different communities across the United States, with more than 36 million people partnering together to make the events a success each year.
