Joan Warren

March 8, 1936 – July 20, 2017

Joan lived with a smile on her face and a love for absolutely everyone. Her sense of humor and wit never dimmed, and her ability to laugh and enjoy life was remarkable. She never met a stranger, she loved to socialize and entertain, and she was always ready for a party.

Joan wholeheartedly adored her family. She and her husband Ray were perfectly suited for one another and shared a marriage of 56 years together. They enjoyed traveling for many, many years in their motor home, as well as all the time spent on the boat with their friends at the Port Orchard Yacht Club. Joan and her daughter Darlene were able to visit some amazing destinations around the world on their numerous adventures together, creating lasting memories.

Her family would like to extend their gratitude to those who were of such great assistance to them all, including Assured Home Health, Assured Hospice, Country Care Family Home. Also we are grateful for the love and compassion of her wonderful caregivers, especially Dora, Claudia, Urania, Crystal, Maria and Lupe, who treated Joan like a part of their own family.

Everyone who knew and loved Joan is invited to an open house celebration of Joan’s life on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Sage Hills Golf Course Clubhouse in Warden.
