Moses Lake Police Department

July 26

A woman reported an unknown subject rummaged through her vehicle in the 600 block of South Lupine Drive. Nothing was damaged or stolen from the vehicle.

Report of suspicious vehicles in the 1200 block of South Ashley Way. The vehicles were gone before police arrived.

Report of a bicycle stolen from a garage in the 1600 block of West Fern Drive.

Police assisted the Washington State Patrol in attempting to locate a vehicle involved in pointing a handgun at another motorist. Moses Lake police could not locate the vehicle.

A woman was spotted stealing an item from a convenience store in the 600 block of North Stratford Road. The woman will be trespassed from the business when she is next contacted.

Police contacted a taxi cab customer who wasn't able to pay her driver a full fare. The woman was able to dig up the extra money after speaking with an officer.

A subject stole four hats from a business on South Pioneer Way. An off-duty officer followed the subject until officers arrived.

A woman reported that the screen had been broken off her window.

A woman reported that a subject was sending lewd photos to her 14-year-old daughter.

A credit card was reported stolen.

A woman reported juveniles going through vehicles.

A man reported that his brother was yelling at him and did damage to his yard.

A boat motor was reported stolen.

July 27

Cattle were reported in the road.

A male subject was reported going through vehicles.

A four-wheeler, a compressor, tools and other items were reported stolen during the night.

July 27

Jonathan Wilt, 27, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant.

Johnnie Shaw, 52, of Sandy, Ore., was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.

Jesus Lemos, 25, of Schwana, was booked on a DOC order.

Fortino Campos, 20, of Okanogan, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC bench warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
