Woman stabbed during purse snatching incident

MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake woman was stabbed late Saturday night in Moses Lake after a man and woman allegedly stole her purse.

The 29-year-old victim arrived at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake about 9:10 p.m. with non-life threatening injuries after receiving stab wounds to her neck and ear. Police contacted the woman at the hospital and she said she was walking home when an unknown male and female grabbed her in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road, near WinCo Foods, according to police records.

The two suspects allegedly stole the woman’s purse and at some point she received lacerations to her neck and ear. The suspects fled the area and are yet to be apprehended. A description wasn’t available Monday.
