Shots fired outside Sporty's Steakhouse

MOSES LAKE — Several shots were fired by an unidentified person Friday night outside of Sporty’s Steakhouse in Moses Lake.

Witnesses told police someone fired five rounds into the air as a group of people were leaving Sporty’s Steakhouse, 507 E. Broadway Avenue, in a silver Cadillac about 9:50 p.m. There were no reported injuries and no damage was found on nearby property, according to police records.

The witnesses’ account of the incident was corroborated after officers found five shell casings in the parking lot at Sporty’s. MLPD officers are working to positively identifying the suspect. The incident is still under investigation.
