Don't just call names, get involved
After reading last Thursday’s paper I am just really sad and confused by all of these people taking aim at people who have taken the time and had the courage to run for office.
Come on, let’s pull together and stop the name-calling and character assassination.
Should we maybe grow up and get a plan together – join a group, go to the meetings, attend workshops, volunteer, donate and try to fix things?
I have not seen all council members attending community events, but I have seen some.
I have seen Bill and Todd at everything, asking questions, taking tours of businesses and above all, asking for their names, where they are from and welcoming them to our town.
I hope tomorrow’s paper is positively full of hope and promise.
