MOSES LAKE — A medical issue led to a single-vehicle collision near Moses Lake Tuesday morning and left a Ephrata woman injured.

About 8:50 a.m. Jianni Latimer, 31, of Ephrata, was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima south on state Route 17, about 8 miles north of Moses Lake, when an undisclosed medical issue caused her to leave the road. The Altima struck a traffic sign and came to a rest off the road facing south, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Latimer was injured and transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. The Altima sustained reportable damages and was impounded. No one was cited.
