A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended license after he was stopped for a traffic violation.

Report of vandalism at a business at 610 West Yakima Ave. Six trailers on the storage lot had windows broken.

Report of theft at a business at 640 North Stratford Rd. Victim said she left her wallet at the location and it was gone when she returned.

Report of theft at a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Victim said he left his wallet at the business and it was gone when he returned a few minutes later.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Adams County warrant after a report of a verbal dispute at a business at 1765 East Kittleson Rd.

July 16

A juvenile was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) after punching the victim in the face when the victim tried to keep the subject from running away.

Report of accident in the 4000 block of Northeast Longview Street. Vehicle that was thought to be in park was actually in neutral, rolled back and struck the residence, causing damage to siding.

Report of attempted vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1800 block of West Lakeside Drive. Victim said unknown suspects damaged a window while trying to get into the vehicle with a screwdriver.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 4600 block of West Lakeshore Drive. Victim said unknown suspects cut the lock off a tool box and stole flashlights and hand tools. No estimated value.

Report of theft from a residence in the 1100 block of South Balsam Street. Victim said unknown suspects stole his wallet from his vehicle.

Report of assault in the 2600 block of West Peninsula Drive. Case is under investigation.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 705 South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 was waiting to exit the parking lot, and driver of vehicle 2 claimed vehicle 1 backed into him. Driver of vehicle 1 said vehicle 2 was right behind him and he rolled back.

Report of kids on the roof of Park Orchard Elementary, 417 North Paxson Dr. Kids were contacted and told not to climb on the roof.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant after a report of a verbal dispute.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for attempted vehicle theft.

July 17

Report of burglary at a residence in the 800 block of North Paxson Drive. Residence is being remodeled; unknown suspects searched the building, but didn't take anything.

Report of vandalism at a business at 116 West Third Ave. Unknown suspects climbed on the roof sometime in the last three months and painted graffiti on the building at a spot only visible from the roof.

A 35-year-old man turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

Report of vehicle prowl and theft at a residence in the 1700 block of West Fern Drive. Unknown suspect broke into the vehicle sometime overnight and stole a pistol, described as a black Springfield .40 caliber.

Report of theft from a business at 1020 North Stratford Rd. Female suspect allegedly concealed merchandise in her purse, estimated value, about $45.

Report of theft from a business at 980 West Central Dr. Victim said his cellphone was stolen, estimated value $50.

Report of vandalism at the Larson Playfields. Unknown suspects broke windows in field boxes, repairs estimated at $500 to $600.

A 66-year-old woman was arrested for third degree assault and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 2500 block of West Marina Drive. Sometime overnight unknown suspects broke into the vehicle and stole a set of golf clubs, estimated value $800, and a drill.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of West Driggs Drive and West Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 was turning left onto Broadway and didn't see vehicle 2, which was passing a semi waiting to turn left.

Report of fraud. Victim said she found an unauthorized online charge, about $35, on her account.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 200 block of West Ridge Road. Driver of vehicle 1 attempted to merge into traffic and collided with vehicle 2.

Officers stopped a vehicle after it attempted to flee. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was arrested for outstanding Grant County warrants and for first-degree driving with a suspended license. One passenger, a 27-year-old man, was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and a second passenger, a 34-year-old man, was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Report of theft from a business at 2822 West Driggs Dr. Victim said unknown suspect entered his hotel room and stole computer equipment.

A woman reported that her son’s ex-girlfriend assaulted the reporting party’s daughter-in-law with a crowbar and then took her vehicle.
