NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of County Commissioner will conduct an Open Record Public Hearing in accordance with Chapter 25.12 of the Grant County Unified Development Code (UDC) to consider proposed amendments to the Grant County Comprehensive Plan submitted in accordance with the criteria listed in the UDC adopted in October, 2000 and as subsequently amended, and in accordance with State Law RCW 36.70A. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: A non-project proposal to consider the adoption of amendments to the Grant County 2006 GMA Comprehensive Plan and associated zone changes. Proposed amendments considered for adoption include an urban growth boundary change, site-specific land use designation changes, changes to Figure 5-5 Future Land Use Map; and rezones. The proposed amendments specifically include proposals submitted by the following applicants and will be heard commencing at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room on the bottom floor of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, Washington, at which time any person may appear and be heard either for or against the amendments being considered. GRANT COUNTY NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS FOR: Traffic Study Peer Review Grant County Public Works solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Traffic Engineering. This agreement will be for approximately 2 months in duration with the option for Grant County to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. Consultants will be considered for the following project. Grant County reserves the right to amend terms of this "Request for Qualifications" (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of peer review of a traffic study and mitigation required for a Planned Unit Development and Binding Site Plan. The project site is The Gorge Amphitheater, located at the intersection of Road 1-NW and Silica Road NW in Grant County, WA. NOTICE: ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT PERMIT PERMIT NO.: WA0021067 APPLICANT: City of Quincy PO Box 338 Quincy, WA 98848 FACILITY: Quincy Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility 201 12 th Avenue SW Quincy, WA 98848 Quincy Industrial has applied for renewal of its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-220 Washington Administrative Code (WAC), and the Federal Clean Water Act. Quincy Industrial presently owns and operates an industrial wastewater treatment facility which is designed to handle a maximum daily flow of 3.23 million gallons per day. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued. Following evaluation of the application and other available information, a draft permit has been developed which would allow the discharge of wastewater from Quincy's facility with the appropriate permit limits and conditions. A tentative determination has been made on the effluent limitations and special permit conditions that will prevent and control pollution. A final determination will not be made until all timely comments received in response to this notice have been evaluated.
