City of Moses Lake Notice of Application and Public Hearing with Optional DNS Our Lady of Fatima submitted an application for a conditional use permit on June 15, 2017. The application was determined complete and ready for review on June 28, 2017. The proposal is to construct a new 3660 square foot church shop and storage facility, in the R-1, Single-Family Residential Zone located at 200 N. Dale Road, legally described as LT 1 & 5 TGW POR White & Paxson DR's Knolls Vista 18th Add. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 16: Buildings and Construction, Title 18: Zoning, and Title 20: Development Review Process. Environmental review is required for this project. The City of Moses Lake has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Non-significance (DNS) for this project. The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. No adverse environmental impacts have been identified, so no mitigating conditions have been identified as necessary through SEPA. The project review process may include additional mitigation measures under applicable codes. The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on August 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 401 Balsam Street. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment. Written comments on the environmental impacts of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on June 19, 2017. Written comments on other aspects of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hearing.
