Michael Wayne Shelton

August 16, 1956 – December 19 2016

Michael Wayne Shelton was born Aug. 16, 1956 in Toppenish, Wash. to Harold Thomas Shelton and Eva Bell Shelton and passed away Dec. 19, 2016.

Michael moved to Moses Lake, Wash. in 1959 and considered this to be his home. He spent a large part of his life being a long-haul truck driver. Which he enjoyed doing because he got to see a large part of the United States, and took pride in driving with his Hap.

Mike loved his family dearly. He loved attending all the family functions, especially Thanksgiving when all the family was together, and all the family camping trips.

Mike leaves behind his wife Cathy Shelton; four sons Jesse and Pam Shelton, Luke and Melissa Shelton, Mark and Jenny Shelton and Scott Shelton and daughter Trisha Merrill. He also leaves behind two sisters and a brother: Dean and (Gay) Cooper, Diane Her and (Ron) and Harold Thomas (Tracy Long); his grandchildren Araya Shelton, Nevaeh Shelton, Lily Shelton, Ava Shelton, Everett Shelton, Westley Shelton, Bailee Shelton and Landon Shelton and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.

Mike is resting peacefully now with his mom and dad and his grandmother Verna Shelton. He will be missed dearly by all.

Mike was a man who loved hard and lived hard.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Lodge on 1517 W. Broadway on Jan. 27, 2017 from 12 to 3 p.m.
