Jan. 13

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at Road L Northeast and Northeast Wheeler Road. Driver of vehicle 1 did not see the stop sign, ran the stop sign and hit vehicle 2.

Report of possible burglary in the 600 block of South Harborview Street. Victim said she discovered several items missing when she returned from an out of town trip.

Report of vandalism in the 900 block of North Grape Drive. The back window of the victim's vehicle was broken sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 12 and 6 a.m. Jan. 13.

A male subject who refused identify himself was arrested on four counts of second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and failing to identify himself. He allegedly caused a disturbance in a business at 2461 South Maiers Road, and when he was asked to leave he allegedly picked up a chair and chased four people out of the building. He gave a false name when asked.

Jan. 14

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant and two misdemeanor warrants.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for DUI after being stopped for speeding in the 800 block of South Alderwood Drive.

Report of attempted entry at a residence in the 600 block of South Harborview Street. Subject, a juvenile, was arrested for residential burglary after he allegedly was discovered in the residence's garage banging on the door and trying to get into the interior garage door.

Report of possible fraud. The victim had been informed by phone they won a prize but had to pay $500 to claim it. Officers told the reporting party the victim should stop payment on the check.

Report of vandalism in the 800 block of North Evelyn Drive. Victim said all four tires were slashed on his vehicle.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for DUI and for giving a false name and birthdate, and for an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Jan. 15

Report of assault and robbery. Victim said suspect hit her and stole her phone. A 36-year-old man was contacted, found to be in possession of the phone, and arrested.

Report of a phone stolen from a business at 789 North Central Dr. Phone's estimated value was $200.

Report of possible burglary at an extended living facility in the 900 block of South Pioneer Way. Victim said an unknown man left the building, then employees noticed several lockers were searched and a $50 gift card was missing.

Report of hit and run accident in the 1400 block of South Sunset Drive. Reporting party's vehicle was hit sometime overnight. Damage was to the right driver's side fender.

Report of theft from a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Thief was described as a white male wearing a brown jacket.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Fifth Avenue and North Elder Street. Driver of vehicle 1 stopped at the stop sign, said he didn't see vehicle 2 and pulled into the road, hitting vehicle 2 in the right side.

Report of stolen vehicle in the 1700 block of West Lee Street. Vehicle was found covered by a tarp at the address and towed to the registered owner's house.

A 24-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and harassment (domestic violence).

Jan. 16

A 17-year-old female was arrested and booked into the Grant County Juvenile center.

Report of construction equipment stolen from a business at 116 West Fifth Ave.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended license. A 19-year-old woman, a passenger in the car, was arrested on an outstanding WDOC warrant.
