Edna Mae Lane

October 10, 1915 – December 31, 2016

Edna Mae Lane passed away peacefully in her home Dec. 31, 2016 in the presence of her daughter Nancy. She is now with Jesus.

Edna was born Oct. 10, 1915 in Massillon, Ohio to Otto and Grace Kohler. She lived there until 1945 when she married Robert Lane and moved to Corvallis, Ore. She worked at Oregon State University for several years. In 1996 she moved to Moses Lake, Wash. to live near her daughter who cared for her for her last 20 years.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and four sisters, and one daughter, Mary Lou Draves. She is survived by her son, Fred Lane of Philomath, Ore., and two daughters, Nancy Justice of Moses Lake and Judy Donaldson of Aloha, Ore. She has nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Edna lived a full and amazing life. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She could smile and laugh better than anyone. She is remembered most for her infectious laugh and sweet nature and just bringing joy to so many.

There will be a service at a later date.
