Current state of affairs is offensive
A letter published on Jan. 5, 2017 stated my letter was “offensive and less than enlightening,” and that Moses Lake is an “urban city.” I lived more than 36 years in the Los Angeles metro area, four near Denver, and 15 in Kent, Wash., working in greater Seattle. I find it offensive that many major cities (e.g., South Side Chicago and areas in LA metro) are combat zones that need to be avoided.
It’s offensive that our country has been politically divided into ethnic groups, played against each other by politicians, community organizers, lawyers, ACLU, unions, et cetera. It’s offensive that public education has been corrupted to create a population that accepts socialism (theft from people so politicians can buy votes). Find, and read, the Cox and Reece Congressional Investigations from the 1950s. Read “The 5000 Year Leap” written by Dr. Cleon Skousen.
Consider mandatory payment of union dues to union bosses and lawyers. Ever wonder why we don’t have a single language in this country? Ever wonder why “social justice” is considered more important than “equal justice?”
This country moved in an ugly direction for the past eight years, and now the wisdom of the Founding Fathers has been demonstrated. Go study the debates (Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers) and the logic of the original Constitution. Let’s see the next few years change this country.
Yes, truth can be offensive. Not speaking out about public (un)education, and resulting economic and political enslavement, is ugly.
