Report of car stolen from a residence in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue. Vehicle was found the next day at the McCosh Park tennis courts.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1700 block of East Truman Avenue. Victim said the back window of her car was broken out.

Report of theft from a business at 500 South Pioneer Way. Reporting party said a man, described as balding Hispanic male, concealed a bottle of liquor in his coat and left the business.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

Report of two-car, non-injury accident in the parking lot at a business at 2709 West Broadway Ave. Driver of vehicle 1 backed into vehicle 2.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Report of one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Grape Drive and Beacon Road Northeast after a traffic stop. When the vehicle was searched, heroin, methamphetamine and a pistol were located and the driver, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Report of door found open at a residence in the 1300 block of East Polk Court. Residence was searched but nothing was missing or damaged.

Report of burglary sometime in the past six weeks in the 900 block of West Broadway Avenue. Victim said unknown suspects stole electronics and clothing.

Report of burglary at a residence in the 1100 block of West Ivy Avenue. Forced entry at the rear of the building.

Report of vandalism in the 2100 block of West Broadway Avenue. Reporting party said the vehicle was for sale and had been parked for about a week; both front windows had been shattered and the passenger door had four bullet holes in it.

Report of door open at a residence in the 2400 block of West Texas Street. Homeowner said nothing was stolen.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident on West Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2, which was stopped at South Alder. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for DUI.

A 53-year-old man was arrested following a report of domestic disturbance. A witness, a 25-year-old man, was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Report of mail, including a package, stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of West Bruce Street.

Report of vehicle-pedestrian accident at the intersection of West Broadway Avenue and West Third Avenue. A 54-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was hit by a vehicle. She was transported to Samaritan Hospital.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree assault and reckless endangerment following a domestic dispute at a residence in the 100 block of Schilling Drive. The woman got into a physical altercation with a 17-year-old girl, and once they were separated, allegedly obtained a gun and threatened to kill herself and people in the house.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for reckless driving and refusing to show identification after he was allegedly spotted racing with another car on South Pioneer Way and East Hill Avenue. The man was released and someone else picked up the car.

A 34-year-old man was arrested for third-degree theft (domestic violence).

A 22-year-old man was arrested at a residence at Stone Road in Moses Lake after he allegedly eluded Grant County Sheriff's deputies and fled on foot.

A 28-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

A man, no age given, was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Report of theft at a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Suspect pushed a cart of merchandise out of the store and fled with it.

Report of unwanted subjects at a business at 930 North Stratford Rd. One of the subjects, a 44-year-old woman, attempted to assault officers when contacted and was arrested.

Report of one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wheeler Road and Northeast Road N. Driver said he couldn't see in the extremely poor visibility and drove off the road.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for DUI, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, driving without a valid driver's license and driving without insurance.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

A 29-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

A 20-year-old man was cited for second-degree criminal trespassing, and later found, twice, in the road at South Division Street and East Fifth Avenue. He was arrested the second time.

Report of three-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Fifth Avenue and South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 lost control, crossing the centerline; driver of vehicle 2 tried to get out of the way and hit vehicle 3. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Report of vandalism at a business at 715 South Pioneer Way. Sometime over the weekend unknown suspect broke a window with a hammer left on the premises. No sign of entry to the building.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Pioneer Way and East Riviera Avenue. Driver of vehicle 2 was turning left onto Riviera, and was hit by vehicle 1, whose driver failed to yield.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Division Street and East Third Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 tried to stop at the stop sign on Third Avenue, but slid into the path of vehicle 2 as it was turning left.

Report of two-vehicle, non injury accident at 1309 South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 attempted to turn into a business and hit vehicle 2.

Report of theft from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Two unknown subjects took a cart of merchandise without paying.

A 33-year-old man was arrested after attempting to flee on foot.

Subjects observed a car running a red light and almost hitting another vehicle at the intersection of South Division Street and East Broadway Avenue. A 36-year-old man was arrested for reckless driving, third-degree driving with a suspended license and outstanding warrants.

An 18-year-old man was cited for second-degree driving with a suspended license. His vehicle was towed.

A woman reported that her son stole her vehicle from her residence.

A man reported his wallet stolen.

A man reported that his son violated a restraining order.

A suspicious person claiming to be from an insurance company reportedly rang a woman’s doorbell and took pictures of her residence.

A man reported that his sister stole tequila and a DVD player.

Dec. 31

A woman reported that her vehicle had been stolen.

A woman reported that someone had broken the panels of her trailer.

A woman reported that her brother came to her residence, threatened to kill himself in front of her and her children, and made other threats against her.

A woman reported receiving a fraudulent phone call claiming that her cousin was in jail and needed money. She sent the money and then learned that her cousin was not in jail.

Jan. 1

A female caller who was drunk reported that her father wouldn’t give her her car keys. She further reported that he smacked her in the face after she swung at him.

A woman reported that she was trying to leave the property and her ex-boyfriend removed the battery for her truck.

A restaurant reported that two intoxicated males who had been removed from the premises were now causing a scene.

A woman reported that the girlfriend of a male who works at her residence walked into the house, yelled at her and knocked her grandson down.

A male complainant reported that a subject attempted to steal his vehicle, but the battery died.

A woman reported that a vehicle went through her fence into her backyard.

A woman reported that threats had been made against her son.

Grant County Jail

Jan. 2

Michael Herrera, Jr., 33, Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for DUI and Washington Department of Corrections warrants for third-degree assault and possession of controlled substances.

Anthony Garcia Lalk, 21, Moses Lake, was booked on GCDC warrants for violation of a no contact order (domestic violence) and hit and run, unattended.

Philip Jacobson, 26, Moses Lake, was booked for reckless driving, third-degree driving with a suspended license, a GCDC warrant for third-degree theft and a WDOC warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
