Moses Lake Police Department
Dec. 29
Police responded to a burglary in the 1100 block of West Columbia Avenue. A juvenile was found in a garage and detained. The juvenile was identified as the reporting party's grandson and no charges were placed. The boy was found to have a valid felony warrant and was transported to the Grant County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Report of two subjects riding dirt bikes in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. The subjects were contacted later in the day, but were not riding dirt bikes.
Police contacted two men who were sleeping in a bathroom on West Third Avenue. The subjects were told to leave the area.
Report of a black BMW with four occupants driving slowly in the 3000 block of Road H Northeast. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
Police were unable to find a man with a Department of Corrections warrant who was seen walking in the 800 block of East Hill Avenue.
A woman reported her vehicle was hit by an unknown vehicle on South Ash Street.
Report of a suspicious person entering a vacant residence in the 1100 block of West Rose Avenue. The male was found to be conducting an inspection on the house and was able to provide a valid work order.
Report of an unknown suspect stealing alcohol from Rite Aid and fleeing the scene. Police could not locate the suspect.
A man told police his daughter's purse and cellphone were taken while she was at Walmart.
A man was trespassed from Papa's Casino after he was kicked out from the business due to his intoxication and got into a verbal altercation with his friends and family.

Juan Hernandez, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest, first-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to obey a police officer, residential burglary, third-degree malicious mischief, third-degree theft, a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant for probation violation and an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for first-degree burglary.

Bernabe Navarro, 19, of Ephrata, was booked for third-degree malicious mischief and third-degree theft.
Marty Gonzalez, 34, of Quincy, was arrested for fourth-degree assault and interfering with reporting of domestic violence.
Darell Gardner, 54, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for fourth-degree assault.
Anthony Gray, 45, of Moses Lake, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Hugo Ramirez, 43, of Everett, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and driving without a valid operator's license.
Brandon Williams, 31, of Medical Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock system.
Freddie Cruz, 40, no city of residence listed, was booked on a DOC arrest and detention order for probation violation.
Brent Lerma, 33, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCSC bench warrant for second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
