Teen identified as victim in Quincy shooting death

QUINCY — Police have identified the victims from a double shooting in Quincy over the weekend that left one dead and another injured.

The Quincy Police Department reportedly responded to a report of shots fired about 4:15 p.m. on Saturday and found two males at the scene who had been shot. One of the victims, identified as Jahleel A. Munnings, 17, of Quincy, reportedly died from a single gunshot wound.

The second victim, Luis E. Nava Trujillo, 20, of Ephrata, reportedly received a single gunshot wound and is being treated at a Spokane area hospital.

“A 17-year-old suspect has been identified, however as this time we are not releasing his name. We are attempting to locate this subject for questioning,” stated the department in a release.
